About Me

Move with Nevin started in my young 20s when I noticed I always had so many injuries doing track and field/cross country. I was always stiff and I didn’t realize until the day my shin splints flared up, i also had adductor issues which never seemed to go away. Throughout my college years, my coach made us do alot of core exercises, squats, lunges, pushups. I later found mobility when my sister told me about an Instagrammer who does jiu jitsu. So I went and got my FRC certification in mobility. I realized stretching isn’t the way to go if you want better joint health and longevity. I now take up gymnastics in my late 20s to show it is possible to stay injury free while doing the hardest sport. My aim is to help you stay injury free and move with ease.

FAQs

Is this available on my phone?

Yes, it’s available on iOS and Android. You can also enjoy the app on other devices like your laptop, iPad, or even your TV by using features like AirPlay or screen mirroring.

How do I combine mobility with my strength training days?

I would suggest doing one hip mobility and one shoulder mobility minimum 2x a week outside your weight training days. You can adjust and go at lower intensity.

Do I need specific equipment for mobility?

You need 4 yoga blocks minimum or an elevated surface like a book to elevate yourself and a mat. A resistance band of medium to light resistance is also needed.

Do I have to have a certain strength level before doing mobility training?

Absolutely not, you will see the movements are body weight based and can be adjusted and given modifications with less intensity and less repetitions. It can be scalable for all levels

How do I know if this is for me?

If you want a quick fix for your injury, I’m sorry this is not for you. If you willing to dedicate 2-3 hrs a week to work on your mobility to either get injury free, or to rehab from injury, or just to improve your mobility, freedom of movement this if for you.

How is this different from other mobility programs from social media?

The approach to mobility is usually thought of as stretching. However, my approach is coming from the concept of FRC (functional range conditioning) which is used among athletes at Nike, powerlifters, as well as professional teams which makes this a unique experience to mobility. It combines active stretching as well as strengthening so you don’t need to spend countless hours stretching and seeing no results

How many sessions until I can see changes to my mobility?

Mobility is a lifelong change to your nervous and joint health. There is not one session that will magically heal your issues. It will take consistency 2-3 sessions a week over the course of 6 months to see significant changes.
